- Whiskey: A bar with 330 different bottles of whiskey (the most in NC) and an upstairs cigar smoking room
- West End Wine Bar: Excellent wine menu, plenty of good food too

Downtown Durham has come a very long way ^
As a former resident, anyone staying at this hotel SHOULD be aware that not far from where this hotel is in fact very unsafe. Definitely keep everything out of the car, lock doors, etc. It's Durham, NC....
Hotel itself is fine but the 'hood is not very far away lest anyone thinks it's Mayberry
