I have booked a BA flight to AMS to then pick up a CX flight to HKG. They are separate bookings, so I am obviously taking a risk that the BA flight gets me there in time.

Does anyone know if BA will check my bags all the way to HKG, or will I need to collect them and check in again at AMS? If BA will, what is the minimum transfer time?

Any thoughts appreciated.
