I have read your posts and I agree that right away after booking a Ticket online you should get an automated reply.

I used Airvalues.com for a 1 way ticket from San Francisco to Sao Paulo for this April as I found it for $474 while other tickets were going for $980. I used them in the past for an Israel flight and got my miles. I was willing to forgo earning miles and the restrictions but as it turns out we can get our miles as well as a day to explore Mexico City.

Anyways after I booked the tickets I got a confirmation with our information and checked it over and it was fine. Within 24 hours I got our ETicket with Ticket numbers. I then called AeroMexico and TAM to confirm our ticket and to be sure they see our Ticket numbers as well as request seats.

We used a credit card and there were no hidden fees. We were quoted $474 and thats what we paid. Now there is a slight chance the fare could have been more but they would have let us cancel or book at the higher fare if that was the case.

When I used them to Israel it was United from SFO-FRA and Lufthansa FRA-TLV-SFO with an overnight in Frankfurt on the return and an 8 hour layover on the outbound. I was willing to go along with this as I saved $800 dollars.
