Well, I live outside Paris, and getting to airports is easier than going to Gare du Nord. In addition, my main meeting locations in London are Canary Wharf, close to LCY, and Uxbridge, close to LHR and very inconvenient to reach from central London. The few times I need to be in West London, I use the Piccadilly Line or the HEX, or once a year, the Eurostar. Pretty much straightforward .
