I have seen the full cycle from Blue to Plat to Silver, and last time around, I got Gold vouchers when I came down to gold from plat, even though as per criteria I did not qualify for gold. So will Jet send me a silver voucher if I meet that criteria, but retain my status as gold. That sounds strange to me.
Anyhow, for the purpose of my request, I will still have one silver voucher in the worst case which I can return.
. And I guess there is no difference is usability of gold vs. silver voucher.

not sure when the rule came into effect but its been around for a couple of years i think....i know a number of people in my firm who lost their plat status but only those who achieved the gold criteria were given the 3 vouchers, even though their status was downgraded to gold....
one of my colleagues was plat but only took a handful of flights last year....he didn't even make the silver criteria & his tier was downgraded to gold but he never got any vouchers....
