I just got accepted into the Platinum challenge. The welcome email states that I have 90 days to fly 26K miles or 35 segments, in order to retain Platinum through Feb 2014. That's not much of an incentive to actually complete the challenge, is it? Let's say I actually complete it - what does that make me for program year 2014 starting March 1? Silver, right?

Am I missing something?
