I don't think you're being pissy. I just don't think you're living in the real world! When you completed the ticketing process, I'm sure that you (whether you realized it or not) agreed to the terms, which include the $150 change fee. I'm sure that if you would have called before you ticketed it, and asked if there was a chance they would waive the fee if you had to make a change, they would have told you - no!

Huh??? Seriously??? Someone who doesn't even fly 25K miles a year, but has had a simple account since 1995 - - That's your reasoning for expecting an exception?
Diamond Medallions on paid tickets don't get exceptions to change fees on paid tickets, and them's is our hard earned cash, not just miles. (I travel completely on my own dime)

expect waivers. If I get one, I consider myself lucky.
