Hoping my RU's will clear for a business upgrade one way. From what i have read, most would prefer the 777-300 over the 747 in business ( I have only flown the 777 in Business). What differences are there between the two and what would you pick given the choice?
Just flew on 744 to SFO, booked on 3 days before travel and RU upgrades were cleared immediately (was heading to YVR but wanted to experience the 744 nose cabin before they go).

Agree 733 J is newer and more polished but personally for a plane buff who grew up staring at 744's - can't beat the nose! Some people previously mentioned better "food heaters" on the 773. Bed dimensions appear the same, the airnz site mentions a "thicker mattress?" personally couldn't tell.

Also are the nose seats FF only seats? - these don't show up "yellow" on the seat select icon so I thought anyone can sit anywhere?
