I used to be on the road a lot - and found not much negotiation possible for one (as stated above) M-Th.
So - check the corporate discounts you might qualify for - I sometimes was working for a client who had a very nice discount at a local property. Check the MVP and other discounts - you may find you can save more with those than what they might be inclined to offer you in a business-centered location with high occupancy (for reasons stated above, they might not prefer your custom - unless paying higher rates, of course).
