My husband has boarded with me in SKY with no issues. He was in Zone 1 on an award ticket (and in an EC seat due to my status). I just gave the GA both of our boarding passes, mine on top. Easy.

As to the nay-sayers, whatever. If they allowed award and revenue on the same PNR...
