20 hours? No. My overnight connection was 17 hours and 20 minutes.
Bag stayed there overnight and upon arrival to my Caribbean destination the following afternoon, it was right there on the belt.
I have to mention, though, that this was that first time flying BA to MIA (as mentioned in previous post) and I was unaware that my bag wouldn't be on the belt. Had I had the choice (known this in advance) I would've had the bag checked only to MIA. I am not comfortable leaving my bag overnight at any airport.
