I used to get these all the time from Marriott, especially when I was forced to stay repeatedly at a paper thin wall / floor SHS in Kansas I hated. Took every opportunity to let them know how bad it was. Don't see surveys any more...
Conversely, stayed a night at SPG, got a survey and gave it low marks due to door slamming and noise on a supposedly "quiet floor". Got an apology from the GM within a few days...
