Actually you may be able to price the change out online, without calling. There will be a change fee (if applicable to your fare) plus any fare differential. It's sometimes cheaper to change once you've started travel, as UA does not reprice the entire ticket if you do it that way. In any event, you are likely looking at hundreds of dollars for this change.
IME, the website doesn't always give you all the options when attempting to make a change (often it is very limited) and sometimes prices higher than a live agent. So,you can try the website but don't be discouraged if the flight you want isn't listed, it may be available if you call.
