Does this also apply if I book flights from my Avios for anyone else? I've no household account, so I should be able to use my Avios for a friend. I know, that I'm in charge to call BAEC for anything related to his travel but how about the fees?
In my experience no fees are applied. It is based on the account used to book rather than the status of the passenger travelling.
