Thanks for all of your input - seems like people have had mixed experiences about merging of accounts. I'll try a PM to Nicci and see where that takes me.

Truth be told though, I guess this isn't a major issue but more of an inconvenience. If I don't get anywhere through Nicci I'll probably just bite the bullet and start updating my BAEC number in various places.
