I flew HKG-SIN last year Nov on their 77W, 9V-SWF. In Y class.

My seat's recline wasnt working, i.e. it was reclining even though I didnt press the recline button.

Was in the last row with 2 seats.

Just before pushback, every single cabin crew that walked past requested that I put my seat upright.

When the 5th cabin crew came up and requested I put my seat upright, I was bloody annoyed and showed her that the seat wasn't working.

and she replied, "I'm so sorry about that, sir. I'll have the technicians look into immediately after the flight. In the mean time, please put the seat upright as we prepare for take off. Thank you."

Goodness.

If it wasn't for the wall behind me, I believe I would have the first flat bed in Y class.
