I got this response from EF when I requested a refund as I only have been there about a month.
Me:Hello, it is with very sad news I read about this on flyertalk.com.
One reason I signed up with Exper Flyer (EF) was so that I could see the upgrade availability. So barely a month after I signed up, this benefit has been taken away.
At this time I request a full refund and request that you immediately cancel my membership.
