But the recent posts in this thread reminded me of something funny -- it seems like every time I'm there the attendants are issuing some warning about alcoholic beverages. At various times I've been cautioned only to take ONE drink at a time (as we entered the club, not because we were drinking heavily or something), that EVERYONE who plans to have a drink must show ID (wife and I are in our late 40's and nobody would ever mistake us for <21), and not to remove any alcoholic beverages from the club because there are some kind of "agents" around watching for this (again, was told this upon entering the club, not that we were trying to walk with drinks). It's become something of a running joke for us as to what they're going to say each time we show up!
These regulations are put in place by the local government. DL is required to remind everyone who enters the bar, and id everyone as well. I am sure the Airport Police is on the lookout for folks 'continuing their vacation' outside the bar in the gate area
I always enjoy the stack of papers on the reception desk. Makes for good reading on the beach (if not too windy)
