For the same reason that SQ, TG, MH, et al, all have a competitive advantage over QF - they all have mid-point hubs, allowing them to concentrate traffic into the hub, and then disperse them out. There is probably only enough SYD-HKG traffic to justify one flight per day for CX, but there is enough SYD-HKG-XXX/YYY/ZZZ/etc traffic to warrant five flights per day, and QF does not have the onward flight opportunities to warrant multiple flights per day.
However, all of this is really basic stuff, and something which anyone with even the tiniest amount of aviation knowledge should know, so I am not sure why I am explaining the most basic of principles, which (as has already been pointed out) is totally off-topic for this thread.

Let's say only 50% is HKG traffic then I think CX still have more than 1 flight a day for pax going to HKG. This is not even based on aviation knowledge.
