I've done a total of 14 $1,998.50 or $2,000.00 payments since the 13th along with a $1,495 payment. I started splitting between two WMs near me, but since the 17th they've all been at one WM (11). I've already built a good relationship with a couple of the people at the Customer Service desk and we laugh and joke while they enter my information for the payments.
I have to give my phone # and name/address for each payment, which is annoying, but the girls don't mind. They're just in awe that someone can be spending this much money.
What's the problem with an SAR if you have a paper trail showing the purchase of a GC using the CC and then the payment using the GC back to the CC? There's nothing illegal about what I'm/we're doing. And there's no way to launder money that I know of that involves purchasing GCs on a CC then immediately paying off the CC with said GCs. If we were buying the GCs with cash or making the BP with cash then it'd be a different story.
Edit: And to report, I did a WM BP using OVs today. Have you checked to make sure your card was properly activated? I had that issue on Wednesday with one of the cards I purchased.
