Which will take forever to get answered... It gets really tiring with the whole Star Alliance crediting... I guess its on purpose... No matter on how many places and how many times you put in your number and show your card... The miles might not end up at your account... then you do a retro claim and it takes forever to get answers to emails, inquiries... My guess is... the harder you make it the less people care about miles getting credited sometimes and give up...
Yes I agree that A3's IT is a bit mile-crediting-challenged and their customer service is a bit cumbered by the many foreign frequent flyers / lounge-leeches, but your reasoning is false.
