The BW is easily accessible by the "Airport Limo Bus" although it seems to run like a normal bus service. However, at Y1000, I'm not complaining.

While it didn't "drop my jaw", I must say it is unlike any BW hotel that I'm familiar with. The area is filled with new hotels (of which the BW is one of them) and very close to Susukino - walking distance to tons of restos and shops. I booked their highest room (Premier King) + breakfast for a ridiculously cheap price. The room is a very decent size and the FD service is quite good. The FD proactively emailed all relevant info to find the hotel, etc, before my arrival so it was all good.

Overall, I'm pretty happy with my stay there and would recommend it as an option in Sapporo. What would I critique? The buffet breakfast seems to be given away to tons of tour groups so everyone and their uncle eats there. While there was a good selection, the overall quality wasn't there (when comparing to the Sheraton/Westin Tokyo). However, it's still miles better than any BW in North America.
This must be your first best western stay in Asia. I'd probably never stay in one in the us... Maybe a bw premier, but in Asia they're frequently great hotels. The one in Nagasaki has a spectacular buffet, gorgeous lobby, etc. anyway I spent about 9 nights at the Sheraton this year and I paid dirt cheap rates and ended up with corner rooms and breakfast as a gold. I asked what I could expect as a platinum they told me anything u to their 1 suite. What's changed at the Sheraton sinced last year? The quality of the Buffett has been improved but they got hit hard every day I was there by Asian tourists, mostly from China. I think the staff had a bit more polish too, but then again when I went almost 2 years ago room rates were much higher and capacity was near 100%. They still don't see many westerners as much of the staff spoke minimal to no English which was fine for me and probably fine for Shin Sapporo but a bit off for an international Sheraton. The rooms are pretty worn, but for the piece pretty acceptable. This certainly isn't the jewel of the Sheraton brand.
