The location of the Marriott is better than the IRS as it's on the Ringstrasse, but the IRS location is still pretty good. You have a better chance of upgrade w/ IRS due to size of property (although that might be tempered if one wing is undergoing renovation). The lounge of IRS is better, but that's JMO.
true but if its only for a couple of days, its great simply walking out the door of the hotel and being smack in the middle of everything.Lobby wise The Marriott kicks the IRS
with the IRS you have to walk to the corner (train station) and grab a tram for a few mins ride to the Ring. I have no problems doing that, but if I was only there for 2 nights Id rather be on The Ring where if the weather isnt cooperating I can always simply jump back in and then back out. Harder to do that with the IRS
