Anyway, for my name, my first name and middle name have been transposed, and my first name (shown on the PNR as my middle name) is misspelled. I brought this to the attention of the tour operator, and this was their response:
"Please note our Air Department has advised the airlines to put a remark for your correct name in all the tickets. For your information – The correct name will NOT be displayed in the tickets but it will be updated in their system, hence it will not be a problem."
For those with experience travelling on Jet Airways, does the above response sound correct? I am worried that my name on the Jet documents (PNR copy, pre-printed boarding pass) will not match my passport. Won't I have trouble gaining entry to the terminals and at security?
if the misspelling is just an alphabet or so out of place then i wouldn't worry about it....just confirm with the airline about the update in their system & you should be fine....
