Thanks all for your help and advice. I have plumped for Vienna and we will be going in Jan but like the cold and also maybe some snow if we are lucky.

I have yet to decide on the hotel and at the moment have both the IRS and the Marriott held. We will be using the lounges now doubt and looking to spend some time relaxing around the hotel. Can anyone comment on the lounge facilities in wither hotel?

Any other tips on VIE or the anything aroun the Hotels much appreaciated.
