Since I had more than one recommendation, the Australian meal became a two-part endeavour. While making my way around the city to see a few of the
Banksy pieces, I stopped at
Tuck Shop's East Village
location, where I had my first (and certainly not last)
Aussie meat pie.
Later in the evening, the Mrs. and I were joined by the Australia native
PbodyPhoto and a friend at
The Australian in
Midtown, where we enjoyed kangaroo, barramundi, and
Coopers ales . Much to the dismay of the table, the restaurant's Tim Tams supply had been exhausted earlier in the day.
