Really? One of the things that would annoy you is paying for coach and flying in 1st but not knowing you're in 1st till 90 minunted before departure? Seriously? I understand your other points but this one.....
I thought the same thing. That's still more than enough time to make whatever adjustments you need to make for a flight, whether that's bringing food or buying a stiff drink beforehand.
