I don't believe they are worth 1/2 of what they were last year.
Except for the holidays, I found quite a bit of 20K one ways from Europe to US, some with creative routing, some actually with the AA LHR-LAX flight, which is a good thing
I am finding availability when flexible or when booking early.
I might change a bit if I get the transfer I am seeking, but then I would be flying ex-Tel Aviv, so I would have to deal with partners more. At least BA will let me have 2 checked bags. RJ only lets me have 1. I rarely travel with 2 though. I did it on the trip here, but as the bags were checked with AA, RJ's limit wasn't an issue.
