It would no longer be worth obtaining EXP status when my wife and I have enough Frequent Flyer points to travel in business or first class three times a year for 10 years and we are retired. Most of our points are in our AA accounts, but our DL points go back to when we were Western Airlines frequent flyers, and our Untied points to Continental's program. When this time arrives to no longer maintain EXP, we should be able to mab the seats of our choice for international and domestic travel.
