hear hear!!! it was refreshing a few months ago to board a UA flight IAD-FRA and find a menu down to earth with no pretension. the food was tasty, good sized portion and not dried out. the descriptions? as simple as you could get... grilled chicken with plum sauce and greens, pan fried steak with jus and potato wedges (and a couple of others that I wasn't interested in).

a simple salad with creamy garlic or French dressing. and of course the sundae dessert! all delicious. (and 50,000 calories)

it was totally comfort food and we all slept soundly with full bellies. (except for the two Air Marshals )

it's not bad. it's of the 'trendy cafe' variety rather than being restaurant quality. but it does the job

IRRC ... and I'd have to dig out the menu... but I'm pretty sure I saw a 'Rockpool style' (yes 'style') fillet listed on the menu once! (I could be totally off on that though.)
