Hi All.

I will be concluding my second ever international trip by flying back to the states via Frankfurt (FRA-IAH on a 380!) on a monday morning, after a night layover in the town.

Here's my question. I will be flying from LHR-FRA on December 22nd (Sunday Afternoon), and arrive around 5 local time. My FRA-IAH flight leaves Monday morning at 10am. I have two options. I can just choose to finally catch up on a lot of things, get a good nights rest and all, and stay at the airport hilton for ~USD 190/night (and maybe get a free room upgrade as a Gold member)

Or I can spend half of that, and stay downtown. I am a 25 year old male and will be by myself, and I'm not sure what is my better option or how I'll be feeling.

Should I see what downtown frankfurt has to offer on a sunday evening, or just play it light and stick around the airport hotel - I saw it has direct access to the terminal, so that's nice.
