Yes, it is a short walk in such a small airport. I even had time to go to the UC for a short pit stop which was on my way to the UA147 gate. For transit folks, there is no document check or immigration stop. Just need to walk from the arrival gate to the departure gate which both are in the same terminal.
I flew GUM-HKG Sat. Fri's flight (and the corresponding Thu flight from HNL) were canceled due to Typhoon Francisco. UA201 arrived at 18:28, and we waited for those passengers before getting out at 19:16 (36 min late). Arrived HKG at 21:56, only 6 min late. Seated at 7F as I waited for departure at GUM, I watched the train of two baggage containers getting dropped off, first for us HKG, then next for MNL.
UA147 is now scheduled for an unusual long block time of 5 h 10 min. I think they're padding it both for connections from HNL and to SGN. As NRT-HKG will be discontinued next week, the connection is going to be even more important for both passengers and crew.
