I would always start by calling the rental location directly and during the business day for that time zone. Whatever you may read or see on a map, it is a lot easier and better to find out the particular ins and outs of a location. E.g., the shuttle bus usually stops right at the location but next week will stop down the road due to construction.

Same thing with vehicles. You want to speak with someone responsible and you need to have the specific dimensions and requirements you require handy. When you get someone who is motivated, you will find that they handle a lot of situations and yours is not out of the ordinary. When you find someone non-responsive, hang up and call the next location.
