Advice for tonight: delayed last service from TXL and transport to central London

I'm booked on tonight's last service from TXL (20.35), but there seems to be a considerable delay. It is now estimated we will not take off before 22.00 (Germany time), which probably means something like a 23.00 arrival into T5.

1. Would T5 still be operating at 23.00? Or does this effectively mean we'll be spending the night in Berlin?

2. If we do land at Heathrow at 23.00, it will be a bit of a stretch trying to make it to the last tube (23.50 or so), considering a non-EU passport, fairly bulky luggage, and a bad ankle. If I do miss the last tube, what would be my best option for getting from the airport to Southwark (around Guy's hospital)? Are there any options other than a taxi? And would this be something BA might be willing to pick the bill for, considering the late departure and arrival? I'm hesitant to use the night buses, as I'm a single woman traveller with some past unfortunate history of unwelcomed attention on one of those.
