Someone mentioned that in China they register a different occupant for each room, and don't allow you to register with your name on each. Which was the source of a lot of problems. Is that different now? Even though your name was on the booking, was it also on your folio? It needs to be for the system to auto-credit.
I'm not sure if they removed my name from the second room or just added the occupant as a second name on the room. At checkout, they insisted in each hotel on transferring the charges from the second room to the first room's folio, but said that I would still receive credit for both rooms.
