I understand completely what people are saying but I would like an explanation of why ths is a new phenomenon that only has given me a problem, and a consistent problem, 5 times out of 5, in CW with aircraft that have the new Thales IFE. I know it isn't the Thales system itself but the socket that is being supplied with it. The computer in question is a Lenovo X1 Carbon which I had previously used >30 times without any problem in the past year on BA longhaul, ie, before the new IFE.
