I forgot to mention one thing: In both resorts, there is a compulsory board charge, including breakfast and lunch or dinner plus all non alcoholic beverages and house wines/spirits (plus the "house outings" that we chose every day). We found this to be very "relaxing", knowing clearly in advance what the total bill would be, being able to order whatever without thinking about costs at all during our stay, and I actually wish that more Amanresorts would do this.
