Was totally expecting $1000+ given the 4 NH and 1 LH segments in there.
$789.56 are the final taxes after accounting for all new charges/refunds + 180,000 AP. Seems rather low, but I'm not complaining. I've already given up $305.10 to AP for 3 changes so far.
Changed to the following:
YYZ-ORD UA J
ORD-NRT NH F
NRT-ICN OZ F
ICN-KIX OZ J
KIX-BKK TG F
BKK-SIN SQ J
SIN-CGK SQ F

Aeroplan collected another $560.60 from me!
The total is $1,350.16!

YQ has shot up from $580.20 to $1,101.25!
I'm baffled why the taxes went up so much as I basically converted my initial NH NRT-BKK flight into ICN-BKK-KIX (YQ on the NH direct flight was $141, and the total YQ on those 3 flights is $177.90), then lost NH NRT-HKG and changed it into YQ-free BR. Changing the LH Y to AC J flight also should have increased YQ by $70 or so.
The only reason I can gather is that on the old ticket, the YQ figure of $580.20 was "too low" considering each of the long haul NH segments are around $280 in YQ alone.
