If both parents are not traveling with Hayley, be sure the one Hayley's traveling with has a notarized letter from the absent parent - even if it is as brief as the one(s) offered in the thread. The chances of hassles are not high, but why not avoid any and all possible?

Mexicans are used to different looking last names - in Mexico the person usually uses Firstname Paternallastname Maternallastname.

It might look like "Enrique Peņa Nieto" in Mexico, Peņa being the paternal name, and Nieto being mom's "maiden name" in the US, where it often appears as "Enrique Peņa-Nieto" on passports, etc.

Thanks JDiver. My daughter hyphenates her last name. As they are traveling separate , I may just tell them to bring Hayley's PP plus her birth cert and their marriage license. No reason to have any problems starting a vacation.
