Follow up on the Night Train. We got the tickets at the station for Sep 29th. We had the two person compartment which was comfortable, with bunk beds and a wash basin. Door was lockable so we felt quite safe. However the ride was very uncomfortable. The tracks were old and felt very bumpy escpecially so in Poland, the train made numerous stops in the middle of the night. Some stops were short some a bit longer and for unknown reasons. The stops were abrupt, impossible to sleep through them. All in all I would not do take this train again, even though I love the European trains.
