I've used it in 3 hotels now. In all cases it was connected to my mini-router (Asus WL-330GE) - twice with the router connected to the hotel internet via Ethernet, once with it connected via Wifi.

No issues at all with either watching NetFlix or with streaming video via a chrome tab. In all 3 cases the hotel did have reasonably fast internet.
