While I personally feel a shower and a tetanus shot are the appropriate follow up to a meal at the Waffle House, many people do enjoy it. Would even the most die hard fan suggest it to tourists visiting ATL? There are literally thousands of dining options from all over the world within a few miles of the airport, and AS suggests the Waffle House.
Born/raised in Seattle, however after high school I spent close to 2 years down in FL panhandle and Alabama. I miss Waffle House. Is it the best food out there? definitely not. But its fast, tastes pretty good, has lots of grease. What isn't there to like about it
? I've actually recommended it to a few people when I hear they are or are planning to visit any of the southern states. Once on a trip is enough, but I still try to hit one up every time I go down.
