Crew will be an issue, they need to sleep after running such a long flight. Unless they want to hire an Asia-based crew to run the flight.
HKG-DEL is about a 6 hour fight going westward and 5 hours going eastward so similar to a US transcontinental flight. But that might be too much time for the crew to operate.
On that note, CX and KA's behind and beyond feed between HKG and nearly all of the major Indian destinations (BOM, MAA, DEL, KHH, HYD, CCU) connect brilliantly to this new AA service.
