Boat trips to the islands are nice at Phulay Bay, but Trisara and Amanpuri are much nicer resorts.
November would be a good time for excursions to the Similan Islands, so I would choose Amanpuri or Trisara if available. Otherwise a Royal Beach Villa at Phulay would be nice. Soneva Kiri or Four Seasons Samui would also be good choices.
