Slopes? Skiing in the area?
(I think it would be better seeing some of the the more solemn historical sites in the area alone - thoughts?)

Pretty sure I can't make it for hockey, but it sounds like it could be interesting.
I'd put Wieliczka above Wawel, but I'm a nerd who's seen Wieliczka three times but inside Wawel only once
I'm also not sure if the art gallery is finally open (I think it is?) and Schindler's Factory. Also don't miss the underground museum in the Rynek.
I'm not sure how the skiing is nearby, we always go to Zakopane or Białka Tatrzańska, but there's places within 45 minutes that fullfil the basic requirements for skiing - lift, slope, place at the bottom to get stuff to perform said action. In terms of quality, though, I would say Białka is the best - most runs, most lifts, decent condition, no real vertical though.
