Yes, I think that was the case with at least one flight (maybe OS or LX), where the safety briefing was pre-recorded.

Maybe it's just certain gates/areas, but the regular queue had to backtrack into the priority queue to get to the bins/tables for the X-ray machine. It was really more of an annoyance at how slowly things moved from that point, since there were only a few people in front.

As for wifi: Did you use the free or business access point? I have found the business one to be generally reliable, but there are areas where the coverage is bad.
I used the login info that they had scattered around the lounge. I think my mobile couldn't connect, so I switched to the free one (which wasn't much better).

I did have high(er) expectations for OS, but I thought that, at worst, it would just be mediocre. Sadly, the inflight DO&CO sandwich paled in comparison to 3-day old ones from Sainsbury's, Tesco, Safeway, Aldi, etc. But the lounge food at VIE was a complete cluster$%#&. Only good thing I ate was a croissant. It was very disappointing. It's too bad that my first (I think...) OS experience was so far from "normal." Hope I'll have better luck next time.

As for A3's lounge, maybe the bar/food area's grand size and look overshadowed the F&B selection, making it look sparse. Or, maybe the inflight food skewed my view.

As for the free for all! Welcome to the Balkans
Even though it was a free for all, it was without the shoving, pushing, and cutting. Hmm... maybe it wasn't a free for all then.
