I would personally recommend the Briggs & Riley Torq. They are a little on the pricey side but if you travel often, I think these would be worth it. I have traveled quite a bit the past two years, mainly Europe and am also in need of replacing my current luggage.

You mentioned your trips usually last no more than two weeks at a time and if that is going to be the case, then I would also suggest getting a carry-on that is going to last. I personally like to travel light and like it when I just get off the plane and go without having to worry about the check-in luggage.
