This is part of a MR that I did from Hangzhou. Finally a MR worthy trip from China!

I researched a bit and found little reviews on ET's 763 planes and most said it was a recliner style. When I boarded, something came as a little surprise which made my journey better. An angled bed!



C was not that full, I say less than half.

A pre-flight champagne was offered (Jacquart Brut Mosaique) which stayed as my choice of drink throughout the flight.



Shortly after take-off, the FA came and took orders for dinner.

What was offered


I took the Salmon option which was good.


After the meal service, slept till approach to Delhi.

Here comes the tough part, I had an 8 hours layover till my return to HGH, so it was a big question as to whether I was able to get my boarding pass at the transit area.

After landing, saw an ET ground staff, told her I am transiting, she told me to wait at the transit area for a good 1-2hours. After a rough 30 minutes wait there, she came and issued me a manual boarding pass.

A boarding pass that she wrote my details on which I managed to get to the departures level but I did not get a lounge invite.

Nonetheless with a PP card on hand, I hopped around two lounges, first the Plaza Premium lounge at the 'B' Area, took a shower and evacuated from there.

Went to the ITC lounge which had some booze available for free with PP. Stayed there awhile and was feeling sleepy and I remembered seeing a snooze place which researching some details.

I headed to Sam's Snooze area for a 4 hours nap which did wonders to me but it was not cheap, 2.7k idr

Now, the return to HGH

Walked to the gate and saw an aircraft without paint and I told myself, not something that I would see everything.

ET-AME naked!


So I was hoping for an identical 763 angled bed that I took inbound but nope, the famous recliners. These were alright for a 6hours flight, had the thai green curry that was good too but perhaps I was too hungry as I did not eat anything in the lounge at DEL.
