Initially didn't get auto-approved, and called the reconsideration line. Talked to the guy, was just honest about everything, and he approved me for $5k. I had applied for the premier personal card as well, and that one was not auto approved either. I called that reconsideration line, and told I was declined due to too many inquiries (specifically the SWA business card they just approved me for). I argued a bit and they approved me for $10k. So weird. So I'm on track to get CP in January, hopefully.
I argued/reasoned but the witch said shes not comfortable giving me a third business card. I told her to cancel one or take credit from the other but she insist no! Second guy gave some lame excuse but stood by no... Finally transferred to sr rep and she said she had to standby her colleagues decision and said no.
I seen a few appled for a second personal and was approved. Since i was declined due to too many inquries, i dont think they will approve the second personal. This stinks! Maybe wait 6 months then apply for sw business card.
