I was actually quite disappointed by the Rose Suite at The Plaza. The bathroom was the size of a normal room - which, conversely, means the room itself was quite small. The service was meh. The decor was meh. Everything felt old. Hordes of old rich folks, further entrenching the "stuck in the past" feeling. Sure, it's a gloriously historical hotel and building. But would I spend another free night cert there? Nope, and certainly wouldn't pay money there either.

The Savoy, on the other hand.... either my favourite hotel in the world, or in the top three, anyway - and one where I'd actually spend cash at, never mind free nights. I wrote about it in my blog, but yeah.
